Julie has a strategic marketing background within Fmcg food and drink markets. Initially in brand marketing with United Biscuits, where she worked on the launch of McVitie’s HobNobs. Then onto Allied Domecq, where she was responsible for new products marketing in the wine and spirits division, launching Chiron, a non-alcoholic wine from Australia and Gavriche, a chocolate cream liqueur from Holland. Then as client services director for Coley Porter Bell, part of WPP Group and one of London’s top strategic design consultancies, she managed major client brands such as KP. Lego and Hovis. Nowadays, Julie works in partnership with the DIT and Innovate funding partners, running virtual masterclasses on how to pitch and win business online and preparing companies to pitch for investment and funding. She also delivers strategic marketing consultancy for individual companies and lectures in Marketing to the Masters and MBA students at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Julie works with clients across many industry sectors including IT, education, utilities, automotive, advanced engineering, finance, life sciences and healthcare.

Tim started his career in sales selling office equipment before discovering his passion for exhibitions. Initially, he worked for EMAP and Montgomery’s where he launched BETT and PC World. Then he set up his own exhibition organising company and designed and launched exhibitions in the IT and music technology sectors. Nowadays, Tim works with clients who want to find new customers. He identifies potential clients and assists in the initial pitch to ensure successful onboarding of new clients. Tim works across many industry sectors including leisure, engineering, professional services and the public sector. He also works with individuals who are interested in investing in property and identifies opportunities and project manages initial development works.
